Telemetry NurseThe Telemetry Nurse position requires a commitment to attend all scheduled start dates, specifically on October 26, 27, and 28. The role involves 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with variable days of the week. Candidates may choose between a 36-hour or 48-hour work option, with the understanding that overtime will not be billed until after 48 hours are worked.Experience RequirementsMinimum of 2 years of experience in Telemetry nursing.Preferred: At least 1 year of experience in Med-Surg (Medical-Surgical) nursing.License and Certification RequirementsCurrent BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.Valid nursing license in Missouri or a Compact state.Additional Job ExpectationsWillingness to float to Med-Surg units as needed.Availability to work four weekend shifts within a six-week scheduling block.Willingness to assist with holiday shifts as needed.Orientation and CredentialingOrientation will be held in accordance with the specified start dates. All credentials must be submitted by the Wednesday prior to the start date.Health RequirementsA double audit is required upon accepting the position, which includes an Occupational Health appointment. This appointment will consist of a drug screening, tuberculosis (TB) testing, and a physical examination.
