Psychology Associate - project position Washington Corrections Center for Women (WCCW) Gig Harbor, Washington Shift: 0730-1600 Monday-Friday Responsibilities Provides direct trauma treatment. Provides individual and group trauma treatment. Assesses clients on RSAT caseload regularly for increases or decreases in symptoms. Documents all contacts with patients in a timely manner via Mental Health Encounter Reports (MHERs) utilizing SOAP format. Inputs daily Offender Management Network Information (OMNI) encounters (electronic) for all incarcerated individuals seen that day. Triage 13-420 requests for individuals in the RSAT program and make appropriate treatment and follow-up referrals as clinically indicated or required by policy. Respond to Requests for Mental Health Assessment (form 13-420). Co‑lead intervention groups with Substance Abuse Recovery Unit (SARU) providers. Coordinate care with program partners: Participate in team meetings. Attend and provide input in Facility Risk Management Team (FRMT) meetings. Collaborate with SARU on shared cases. Consult and collaborate with the Primary Therapist (PT) to monitor treatment progress and input into annual updates. Be a contributing and supportive team member: Support and suggest innovative ideas and strategies. Foster teamwork. Practice fiscal responsibility. Promote safety, be alert, be aware. Attend all required training. Answer questions from unit staff regarding implementation of the RSAT program. Train staff: Train and monitor practicum students to follow the RSAT WCCW model. Answer questions from students and unit staff. Ensure RSAT protocols are followed: Assist in collection and tabulation of research data. Participate in monthly data meetings with supervision psychologist to review and update data. Required Qualifications Licensed Agency Affiliated Counselor (LAAC) Agency Affiliated Counselor FAQs | Washington State Department of Health Must have the ability to apply for Licensed Agency Affiliated Counselor License within 30 days of hire date. Additional consideration may be given for higher level DOH mental health licenses. Preferred Qualifications Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited school or department of Psychology, or Master's degree in Psychology and two years of supervision post‑Master's degree experience. At least one year of experience working independently and effectively to provide individual and group therapies. Experience linking clients with resources within institutions and/or the community. Experience working in a collaborative fashion as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team. Official Washington State licensure as a Mental Health Clinician. #J-18808-Ljbffr
