Registered Nurse – Endoscopy

Location: Burbank, CA

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Endoscopy Registered Nurse to provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong procedural nursing experience and the ability to deliver high-quality patient care throughout the pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and recovery phases.

Requirements

Active RN License required
BCLS Certification required
Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience required
First-time travelers accepted

Schedule

Day Shift
On-call required
Approximately 4–6 call shifts within a 6-week schedule
Weekend commitment only for assigned call coverage

Call Schedule:

Monday–Friday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Saturday/Sunday:
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, or
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Patient Assessment and Monitoring
Moderate Sedation Monitoring
Pre-Procedure and Recovery Care
IV Therapy
Emergency Response
Clinical Documentation

Key Responsibilities

Provide nursing care before, during, and after endoscopic procedures
Monitor patients receiving procedural sedation
Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures
Assess patient conditions and respond to clinical changes
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Educate patients regarding procedures and recovery expectations
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
