Therapist - Respiratory Therapist

$2080.80/week -

Job Summary:

Provide specialized respiratory care to patients in an acute hospital setting, including assessments, treatments, and patient education. Ensure optimal respiratory function and improve patient outcomes through effective interventions and response evaluations.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Perform comprehensive assessments of patient respiratory status and document findings.
  
  
• 
  Administer respiratory treatments such as oxygen therapy, ventilations, and aerosolized medications.
  
  
• 
  Evaluate patient responses to treatments and adjust care plans accordingly.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families on respiratory health, treatments, and wellness strategies.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with medical team to develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation of clinical interventions and patient progress.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Possess at least 1 year of recent RT experience in an acute hospital environment.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate experience with infants and pediatric patients.
  
  
• 
  Hold active PALS certification and state license in Oregon.
  
  
• 
  Obtain and maintain NBRC, BLS (AHA), and ACLS (AHA) certifications.
  
  
• 
  Strong communication and patient education skills.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, clinical setting.
