Job Details:

Hours of work: Mon-Fri (3:30pm to 3:00 am ) with occasional Saturdays

Start Pay 18.75 plus $2.00 shift premium

Forklift Operator Class IV

Department (Tasks) - Production

This position is responsible for moving totes to and from the trailers, moving trash, pallets, supplies to and from the dock and production lines, moving finish totes to the freezer, locking/unlocking ramp as trailers dock and communicating with management and co-workers as necessary. This position will be exposed to a work environment with temperatures ranging from -10 to 80 degrees, wet and/or humid conditions, slippery floors in some areas, concrete floors and noise levels that are loud enough to require hearing protection. Must be willing to lift, push, pull up to 95 lbs and be willing to work sitting on a forklift for 8 to 12 hours.

Department (Tasks) - Grounds

This position is responsible for using a forklift to moving supplies, trash, pallets, chemicals, equipment and cardboard bales on the facility grounds and communicating with management and co-workers as necessary. This position will be exposed to a work environment that is tied to what the weather outside is (rain, heat, cold, insects). Must be willing to lift, push, pull up to 95 lbs and be willing to work sitting on a forklift for 8 to 12 hours.

Position Specific (Requirements) - External

Must be willing to take and pass forklift operation certification.

The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Must have a minimum of 6 months of continuous work history within the past 2 years. Must have a minimum 3 months operating machinery in a processing/factory environment.
