• Shift: 5x8 Hour Day Shift (40 Hours/Week)
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks

• 8 CVOR Operating Rooms

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CVOR RN experience
• First-time travelers are not recommended
• Strong independent CVOR experience required
• Travelers will circulate only (no scrubbing)

• TAVR
• Valve Replacements
• Robotic Thoracic Surgery (Lobectomy, Hernia Repair)
• Generator Exchanges
• Lead Extractions
• Heart Transplants
• Fem-Pop Bypass
• Experience in a fast-paced CVOR environment

Charting & Equipment

• EPIC (Required)
• Alaris
• Pyxis
• Da Vinci XI Robot

Patient Ratios

• 1:1

Call Requirements

• Weekend Call: Once per month (24-hour call, Saturday/Sunday 7:00 AM–7:00 AM)
• End-of-shift call: Up to once per week
• 30-minute response time
• Holiday call as needed

Floating

• No floating for RN

Orientation

• 2 weeks

Schedule

• Start time between 5:00 AM – 6:30 AM
• Up to 7 days RTO may be approved

Additional Information

• Scrubs provided

• Pain reassessment documentation required after medication administration
• Facility fatigue policy: Maximum 60 hours per week or 5 consecutive 12-hour shifts
