Housekeeping Staff - Cleveland YAre you interested in keeping our Cleveland YMCA neat and tidy, to ensure the comfort and safety of others? As a Housekeeper, and an important member of our team, you will perform all of the day-to-day cleaning services, including locker rooms.We are currently seeking a part-time FEMALE Housekeeper who can work Monday-Thursday 4pm-9pm.RESPONSIBILITES:Ensure the cleanliness of the facility by completing the daily checklistPerform duties such as wet and dust mopping, dusting, trash removal, recycling, window washing, vacuuming, seasonal activities dealing with lawn care and snow removal, and other general cleaningRecord and report repairs as needed and report hazardous conditions to supervisorOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS:Six months or more of related experience preferredAbility to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents, and document work as neededPHYSICAL DEMANDS:Sufficient physical strength and agility to carry out essential duties of jobAbility to lift up to 25lbsAbility to work with cleaning equipment, chemical compounds, solvents, cleaners, and solutions in dry, liquid, powder, spray, and aerosol formsAbility to work in conditions that will create dirt and dustMust be detail oriented and exhibit a high degree of accuracyAbility to perform duties which may include: semi – reaching to full-reach overhead; crouching; kneeling; shoveling; carrying, working in narrow and/or confining spaces: underground, overhead, and at ground level; twisting of the waist, shoulders, and legs; and lying on stomach and/or back
