Physician - Gastroenterology

PhysicianThis position requires expertise in Internal Medicine with a focus on Gastroenterology. Candidates must possess skills in upper GI endoscopy, including biopsy, foreign body removal, and fulguration of bleeders. Experience with injecting varices, performing PEG, esophageal dilatation, and manometry is necessary. Candidates should be capable of performing lower GI endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision. Flexible sigmoidoscopy skills are required. Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and liver biopsy skills are not required for this position. Candidates should be familiar with the insertion and management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tubes. The facility operates at a trauma level 3. No pediatric level care is required.
