Job Description:

The Registered Respiratory Therapist in the NICU/Peds unit will be responsible for providing specialized respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric patients. This position requires managing ventilated patients, including equipment setup and maintenance, within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Independently admit and manage vented patients in Peds ICU using Servo U ventilator.
• Setup and manage heliox therapy through invasive and non-invasive measures.
• Utilize non-invasive ventilation including biPAP and CPAP for neonatal patients.
• Manage high frequency ventilation and administer nitric oxide treatment.

Requirements:

• 1+ year Neonatal ICU or PICU Critical Care experience.
• Certification in PALS is required.
