Welder / Fabricator Mobile Air & Power Rentals provides innovative cooling, heating, dehumidification, and power solutions for customers nationwide. Our Rental Solutions Business supports complex, custom-built equipment that helps clients operate efficiently and safely across a wide range of industries. We are hiring a Welder / Fabricator to join our Indianapolis-based fabrication team. Why Mobile Air? Full-time position with overtime opportunities Competitive hourly pay Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance Life Insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off (vacation, sick days, holidays) Career development and advancement opportunities Employee discount programs What You’ll Do Responsibilities Perform fabrication, welding, pipefitting, and structural welding for specialty manufacturing projects Assemble, repair, and troubleshoot fabricated components and equipment Support general machine repair and mechanical assembly activities Operate shop equipment and heavy machinery daily, including cranes, saws, forklifts, and semi-tractor trailers Assist with shipping and receiving activities as needed Complete required documentation related to work performed and materials used Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirementsIdentify and communicate potential process improvements that enhance efficiency, quality, and shop safety Assist with additional shop floor activities as requested Perform other duties or special projects as assigned Required Skills / Experience High school diploma or GED required Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or warehouse environment Welding experience preferred (structural and/or pipe welding) Forklift certification required; crane operation experience preferred Shipping and receiving experience is a plus Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and other PC-based programs Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams Ability to safely lift and move materials in a shop environment Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement Work Location Rental HQ – Indianapolis, IN This is an onsite role supporting fabrication and manufacturing operations Join our team and play a key role in building and supporting the equipment that powers Mobile Air & Power Rentals’ nationwide operations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
