PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (AIRCRAFT)

Job TitleAir Reserve TechnicianJob DescriptionThe primary purpose of this position is to serve as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) position, in conjunction with the Production Superintendent (Pro Super), to assign priorities to aircraft production efforts, to direct action to resolve resource shortages, to maintain liaison among aircraft maintenance management, and to provide training to reservists in the accomplishment of tasks set forth herein.Duty 1Provides both present and projected status information to prescribed managerial personnel.Duty 2Notes projected completion date, studies actual aircraft status and informs higher levels within chain of command when aircraft is to be mission ready.Duty 3Through use of radio, telephone, intercom, e-mail, personal contact with production supervisors, technicians, review of work documents and statistical listings, determines status of aircraft.Duty 4As daily events occur, maintains MIS data integrity regarding maintenance flying schedule requirements.Duty 5Accomplishes aircraft debriefing to ensure malfunctions identified by aircrews are properly reported and documented.
