Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–4:30 PM
Compensation: $95,000–$115,000

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced PET Technologist to join a well-established private practice that has been serving the community for nearly 40 years. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, a manageable patient volume, and a strong focus on quality patient care.

The PET Technologist will perform PET imaging procedures, prepare and position patients, operate imaging equipment, handle radiopharmaceuticals, and ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Perform PET imaging procedures according to established protocols.
• Prepare, position, and educate patients throughout the imaging process.
• Handle and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with safety procedures and regulations.
• Operate and monitor PET/PET-CT imaging equipment.
• Ensure high-quality diagnostic images and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond appropriately to any concerns.
• Maintain accurate patient and imaging documentation.
• Follow radiation safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to provide efficient, high-quality patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology, Radiologic Technology, or a related field.
• Current NMTCB or ARRT certification, as applicable.
• State licensure as required.
• BLS certification.
• 1–2+ years of PET or nuclear medicine experience.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and radiopharmaceutical handling.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• PET/CT experience.
• Experience with PET radiopharmaceuticals and imaging protocols.
• Cardiac PET experience is a plus, but not required.
• Strong patient communication and teamwork skills.
