Senior Accountant

Senior AccountantThe Senior Accountant will join La La Land's corporate accounting team in a high-visibility role reporting to accounting leadership. This position spans day-to-day transactional accounting through strategic financial analysis presented to leadership, and is expected to grow over time from hands-on ownership of core accounting processes into a role overseeing staff accountants and driving process and controls improvements across the business.Key ResponsibilitiesCorporate Accounting & ReportingPerform monthly corporate accounting duties, including month-end close and account reconciliationsPrepare monthly financial statements and management reportsAssist with accounting support across other divisions within the companyFinancial Analysis & Business SupportProvide financial analysis and insights to support leadership in strategic planningPartner with cross-functional stakeholders as the business continues to scaleAudit, Compliance & Special ProjectsSupport the Controller on various projects and assist with audit and compliance preparationWork on various other special projects as the business and accounting function continue to growKnowledge/Skills/AbilitiesStrong work ethic and willingness to roll up your sleeves and help wherever needed; a great attitude is a mustStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growing environmentComfortable working across every level of the business, from the ground floor to executive leadershipRestaurant or consumer products industry experience preferred, though not requiredQualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting requiredCPA required2–4 years of Big 4 public accounting experience or comparable audit experience with a mid-market firmPhysical RequirementsProlonged periods of sitting and computer use may be requiredAbility to work in a fast-paced, on-site office environment 5 days per weekAdditional Perks:Profit Sharing EligibilityAnnual BonusPaid HolidaysFlexible PTOAnnual Food & Beverage AllowanceCompany DiscountPhone StipendGrowth Opportunities
