Take on a meaningful opportunity supporting students in a school-based setting, working with middle and high school populations. This contract role offers a manageable schedule of up to 10 hours per week, continuing from ASAP through the end of the school year. With a light caseload—currently just 15 evaluations—this position is ideal for professionals who want to make a focused impact through their occupational therapy expertise.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Delaware OT certification required
• Previous experience as a school-based Occupational Therapist (OT) preferred
• Comfortable conducting evaluations and re-evaluations for middle and high school students
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educational teams and families

Responsibilities:

• Complete occupational therapy evaluations, primarily re-evaluations, for students in grades 6-12
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and district guidelines
• Provide recommendations to school staff and families based on evaluation outcomes
• Communicate assessment findings clearly and professionally
• Participate in IEP meetings as required, offering OT insights to support student success
