Payroll Specialist This role supports smooth HR and finance operations by ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining employee records, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Salary $70,720 Key Highlights High‑impact role ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. Opportunity to improve payroll processes and strengthen compliance. Key position that collaborates closely with HR and Finance. Ideal for someone who values accuracy, confidentiality, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Process biweekly or weekly payroll for all employees. Maintain and update employee payroll records, deductions, and tax information. Review timesheets for accuracy and resolve discrepancies. Ensure compliance with wage laws, tax regulations, and company policies. Prepare payroll reports and support month‑end and year‑end processes. Respond to employee payroll inquiries and coordinate with HR and Finance as needed. Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred. 2+ years of payroll processing experience. Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations. Experience with payroll systems and Excel.
