Position Summary

TRC Talent Solutions is seeking skilled and motivated Equipment Technicians to join a growing manufacturing team in White, Georgia. As an Equipment Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting ingot manufacturing operations by ensuring production equipment remains operational, reliable, and safe. This position is responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, repairing equipment, and minimizing downtime to support production goals.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment and possess strong troubleshooting abilities involving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automated production systems. Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and production machinery.

• Diagnose equipment malfunctions using troubleshooting techniques, schematics, manuals, and diagnostic tools.

• Repair and replace defective mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic components.

• Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and increased reliability.

• Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.

• Maintain and manage spare parts inventory to support maintenance activities and reduce downtime.

• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and production support requests.

• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, mechanical drawings, blueprints, technical manuals, and equipment documentation.

• Document maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts utilized, and equipment performance in maintenance management systems.

• Ensure compliance with company safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, environmental standards, and operating procedures.

• Collaborate with engineers, operators, maintenance personnel, and production leadership to resolve equipment issues.

• Support installation, startup, testing, and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment.

• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities to prevent recurring equipment failures.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

• Up to 5 years of experience in equipment maintenance, industrial maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, or a related technical field.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and technical documents.

• Basic understanding of electrical systems, motors, sensors, relays, drives, and controls.

• Knowledge of mechanical systems including bearings, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, and power transmission components.

• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical degree, vocational certification, or military training in Mechanical Maintenance, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.

• Experience working in semiconductor, manufacturing, automotive, solar, chemical processing, or high-volume production environments.

• Knowledge of PLC systems, automation equipment, robotics, and industrial controls.

• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).

• Previous experience supporting continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma initiatives.
