The selected candidate will join the Advanced Compact EW Solutions (ACES) product line and perform a critical role of Supply Chain Program Manager (SCPM) in support of franchise programs in early development and long-standing production phases. The SCPM operates as a critical extension of the program manager by assuming full ownership and accountability for material execution on their assigned program(s), inclusive of strategy, cost, schedule, technical, and quality with support from a cross-functional integrated product team (IPT). In this role you will:Manage the execution of subcontracts and purchase orders for materials, equipment, supplies, and services of a highly specialized and complex nature through all phases of the program lifecycle.Evaluate, negotiate, and manage assigned subcontracts to perform to each project's specifications, quality, budget, schedule and earned value requirements to include the timely delivery of all deliverables required to fulfill the subcontract.Author, manage and influence critical path releases of Statements of Works (SOWs) and plans to align with required schedules and subcontractor lead timesDeliver quality customer service to both internal and external customers and foster and maintain good supplier relationships, while driving a Zero-Defect mindset with suppliers.Participate in the support of new business and in the development of financial plans for the company, as it pertains to the planned outsourced portion of the project(s).Who you are:Consistently demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Deliver independent work product while also managing dynamic cross-functional program teams on all subcontract related issues.Assess, prioritize, and drive issues to closure, with assertiveness as requiredExercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of duties.Exhibit best practice work habits and collaborate with other subcontract team members to promote operational excellence and completeness.Model and demonstrate strong leadership in ethics, safety, corporate responsibility, and security.Required Education, Experience, & SkillsTypically a Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experienceExperience in Subcontract Management, Project Management or Program ManagementStrong demonstrated negotiation skills and strategiesExperience in new business capture to include proposalsExperience developing long-term strategies and tactical plans to achieve enterprise objectives.Successful, proven record of leading and managing multi-discipline project teamsStrong interpersonal skills with a focus on relationship building, leading through influence, and the ability to effectively communicate (verbally and in writing) at all levelsAbility to develop plans specifying goals, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resourcesExperience with scope management and cost estimating, including estimate to complete/estimate at completion (ETC/EAC) processes.Ability to communicate with senior management regarding subcontract performance status (cost / schedule / resources / risk) as well as performance to financial objectives Experience communicating externally either with customers or suppliersStrong technical and business acumenAbility to travel ~10-25% of the timeAbility to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearancePreferred Education, Experience, & SkillsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or OperationsMaster's Degree in Engineering and/or Business AdministrationPrior experience as a project / program managerExperience leading cross-functional teams Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)Program Management Institute's (PMI) Program Management Professional (PMP) certificationDemonstrated Risk Management experienceExperience with information systems such as OracleKnowledge of acquisition policies and procedures with associated knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)Significant experience managing the development and compliance of requirements (SOWs, specifications, contractual terms, etc.)Strong organizational skills to handle many overlapping projects simultaneouslyActive Secret or TS clearancePay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $132962 - $226035 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
