Step into a rewarding contract position serving K-12 students as a skilled speech-language pathologist. This opportunity runs from ASAP through June 2027, offering full-time hours (35-37.5 per week, Monday through Friday) within a dynamic educational community near Bloomfield, CT. You’ll join a collaborative environment with another SLP, working across multiple school sites to deliver essential speech and language services.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in Connecticut
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• Previous experience with school-based or pediatric populations preferred
• Ability to manage a diverse K-12 caseload
• Skilled in assessment, intervention, progress monitoring, and documentation
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with educators, students, and families
• Comfortable working across multiple schools
• In-person availability is required throughout the assignment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services to K-12 students aligned with IEP goals
• Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations
• Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate on multi-disciplinary teams
• Support students with articulation, language, voice, fluency, and pragmatic disorders
• Maintain thorough documentation for compliance and progress tracking
• Consult with teachers and parents to foster supportive learning environments
• Participate in IEP meetings, case conferences, and related activities
