Located in Honolulu, HI Salary: Starting at $77k Senior Accountant (Bilingual Japanese/English) Join a well-established organization looking for a Senior Accountant to support financial reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, and month-end close activities. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys working independently and partnering with leadership to support business decisions. Pay: $77,000 - $85,000 + Performance Bonus Benefits Include:- Health Insurance

- Overseeing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
- Preparing financial statements, reconciliations, and management reports.
- Managing consolidated financial reporting and intercompany transactions.
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis efforts.
- Preparing tax filings and coordinating with external tax advisors.
- Monitoring project costs and maintaining Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules.
- Assisting with audits, compliance requirements, and process improvements.
- Providing financial insights and recommendations to management.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Experience with consolidations, intercompany accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting software experience.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Fluent in both Japanese and English (written and verbal) required.
- CPA preferred but not required.
