Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time - Mornings in North Chicago IL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid drivers license and offers the opportunity to support a caring environment while representing Allied Universals agile reliable innovative and integrity-driven values through teamwork.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients patients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents alarms medical emergencies and other critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities parking areas entrances and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity verify credentials as required and report suspicious behavior or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports maintain activity logs and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
