Work every other weekend and holidays as needed. Schedule posted every 6 weeks to meet unit needs.Highlights:\n \n High-volume, high-acuity Labor and Delivery unit with 500-600 deliveries per month and 31 labor rooms\n Comprehensive perinatal services including 4 operating rooms for cesarean sections and complex deliveries\n Diverse patient population including midwifery clients, private OB patients, and Adult Recovery Services supporting substance recovery\n Function as Baby Nurse during deliveries, providing complete newborn care including assessments, vitamin K injections, and eye prophylaxis\n Circulate for cesarean sections and assist with high-risk deliveries in a fast-paced environment\n Six-month assignment with 40 hours of orientation and comprehensive interdisciplinary support including interpretation services\n Requirements:\n \n Active Washington State RN license or compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)\n Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required\n High-risk obstetrical experience required; ability to work in fast-paced, high-acuity environments\n Required certifications: BLS, NRP\n Preferred certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate\n Epic electronic charting system experience required (hard stop)\n Electronic fetal monitoring experience required\n Must be proficient in Baby Nurse role including newborn care, assessments, and medication administration (hard stop requirement)\n Must be able to circulate for cesarean sections (hard stop requirement)\n Experience with high-volume facilities (200+ deliveries per month) preferred\n Willingness to float to Postpartum, Antepartum, and potentially sister facilities as needed\n Commitment to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)\n Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years\n Why Join Us?\n This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a premier high-risk, high-volume Labor and Delivery unit serving a diverse patient population.
