CNC Operator

Location: Elkhart County, IN

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 2:00 PM–10:30 PM

Current Schedule: Employees are currently working until approximately 11:30 PM due to increased production needs.

Overtime: Currently available during the busy season with approximately 9-hour shifts.

Position Overview

CDR ProSource  is hiring a reliable and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join a woodworking production team in Elkhart County, IN. This position is responsible for operating CNC machinery and loading/unloading wood panels while maintaining quality, safety, and production standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC machinery according to production specifications and safety procedures.
  • Load and unload wood panels and materials weighing approximately 25–35 lbs.
  • Monitor machine performance and finished product quality.
  • Perform basic machine adjustments and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Work with the production team to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications

  • Previous CNC or machine operating experience is preferred, but training is available for the right candidate.
  • Stable and reliable work history is highly valued.
  • Ability to lift and move materials weighing 25–35 lbs.
  • Mechanical aptitude and comfort working around machinery.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Dependable attendance and a positive work attitude.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
