About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Chamberlain, South Dakota, 57325!

Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room / Med Surg

Location

Chamberlain, SD

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 36 hours per week | 12-hour rotating shifts | Every other weekend and holiday required | On-site

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in both the Emergency Room and Med Surg units
• Function independently in the ER setting and manage up to 5 patients in the Med Surg unit
• Float between the Emergency Room and Med Surg departments as needed
• Utilize computerized charting and medication dispensing systems including electronic health record and automated dispensing cabinet
• Fulfill 3 call shifts per 13-week contract period
• Adhere to facility dress code requirements (navy scrubs, no logos)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• At least 6 months of Emergency Room experience within the past year
• At least 6 months of Med Surg experience within the past year
• Active RN licensure
• BLS certification required prior to start
• ACLS certification required prior to start
• NRP required (may be completed on-site with approval)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• TNCC certification preferred
• PALS certification preferred
• Experience with electronic health record systems and automated medication dispensing
