Insurance Coverage Attorney

Overview Seeking a highly motivated litigation associate with 4 to 5 years of experience for our insurance practice group. Responsibilities Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements. Independently manage a litigation caseload Prepare for and attend hearings and/or other legal proceedings, including depositions. Attend mediations and otherwise negotiate settlements. Communicate with shareholders, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently. Experience 4-5 years of experience litigating insurance defense cases Strong insurance knowledge Strong research and writing skills Qualification and Education Requirements J.D. from an accredited law school. Admission to the State Bar of Texas. Required Skills Experience analyzing, reviewing, editing, and drafting litigation documents, as well as superior logical reasoning, critical thinking, and analytical skills. Must have demonstrated the ability to work with clients who demand excellence and be able to meet their expectations. A commitment to working ethically and always in the best interest of the client. Excellent work ethic, articulate, and efficient. Must be a self-starter and be able to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent spoken and written communication.
