About Family Health Care Family Health Care is a Federally Qualified Health Center located in West Central Michigan. Founded in 1967 as one of the first community health centers in the nation, we provide medical, dental, laboratory, radiology, behavioral health care, vision, and retail pharmacy services at six main offices located in Baldwin, Big Rapids, Cadillac, Grant, McBain and White Cloud. Why Family Health Care? 4 or 5-day work week Minimal on-call schedule Generous administrative time (4 hours weekly) Realistic productivity standards (2 patients per hour) Eligible for up to $75,000 in loan repayment through NHSC for two years, and $20,000 each subsequent year. Eligible for up to $300,000 in loan repayment through MSLRP over ten years. Retention bonuses paid quarterly CME paid time off and stipend Paired medical assistant Federal malpractice coverage provided by employer RN case manager Behavioral health therapists onsite Clinical pharmacist to assist with medication review, interactions, and education Experience Requirements Prior experience as an NP or PA in primary care preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate. Must be willing to treat all ages including newborns, pediatric, and adult patients.
