Speech Language Pathologist in Stafford, VA

Make a difference in the lives of students by supporting their communication needs in a hybrid role serving diverse school populations near the Washington, DC area. This contract position offers the flexibility of both in-person and remote work, with a 3/2 split: spend three days providing direct services onsite and two days working from home on meetings, documentation, and virtual therapy. Start August 3, 2026 and continue through the end of the school year, for a rewarding full-time schedule at 37.5 hours per week. Key Qualifications: Active VA Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required Strong background in delivering speech-language services within school settings Experience supporting a range of age groups and managing varied caseloads Comfort with both in-person and virtual service delivery, including teletherapy platforms Ability to manage time-sensitive credentialing steps, including a VA Department of Social Services check and TB test Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills What Youll Do: Deliver speech-language therapy and assessment to K-12 students using evidence-based practices Maintain a hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite for face-to-face therapy and support, 2 days remotely for virtual services, meetings, and documentation Consult and collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support each students IEP goals Complete timely reporting, maintain notes and records, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations Flexibly adapt to caseload and school assignments as determined by the district This is an excellent opportunity to balance the satisfaction of onsite work with the convenience of remote days, all while helping students achieve their communication goals.
