Registered Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care Unit

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) to provide individualized, age-specific bedside nursing care based on the nursing process and patient needs. Key Responsibilities Include Assessing patients' physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, cultural, safety, and discharge planning needs. Developing and individualizing care plans, determining nursing diagnoses, and setting realistic outcome goals. Implementing nursing and medical orders, evaluating their effectiveness, and coordinating care with other disciplines. Participating in hourly rounding and ensuring safety guidelines are followed. Assisting in shift supervision by assessing, planning, delegating, and utilizing independent judgment. Qualifications And Skills Required Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a valid RN license in the applicable state. Effective interpersonal and teamwork skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent customer service skills. Basic computer skills. Certifications such as CPR, ACLS, and additional specialty certifications depending on the department. Preferred: BSN degree and one year of acute care experience or new graduate with relevant certifications. Additional requirements may include specialty certifications such as NRP, Wound Care, or Bariatrics, depending on the unit. #J-18808-Ljbffr
