Travel RN – Medical/Telemetry (Spine Unit)

Contract | Travel | Days | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | 13-Week Assignment | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Telemetry Spine unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Accurately document patient assessments, care provided, and clinical outcomes in the electronic health record
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, procedures, and discharge planning

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or a compact state
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a Medical/Telemetry setting
• Current BLS certification required
• Demonstrated ability to monitor and respond to telemetry rhythms
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced acute care environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a spine or orthopedic nursing unit
• Experience working in a high-volume regional referral or trauma center
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems used in acute care settings
