Contract | Days | 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Room setting at a Critical Access Hospital
• Float to Med/Surg as needed — some shifts may be more Med/Surg-focused than ER; candidates should be comfortable with both settings
• Utilize Athena EMR for documentation and patient management
• Work within a staffing model of 2 nurses, 1 aide, and 1 staff secretary on the floor
• Maintain patient ratios of up to 5:1, though ratios typically remain around 1:3

Required Qualifications

• Active Kansas state license or multistate (Compact) RN license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC — all certifications must be through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Ability and willingness to work in both ER and Med/Surg environments
• No radius/mileage restrictions — locals are welcome to apply

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred, though first-time travelers will be considered
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience preferred; candidates with under 3 years of experience may be considered
• Familiarity with Athena EMR
