Your Responsibilities

• Perform detailed patient assessments, order necessary diagnostics, and develop tailored care strategies
• Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic health conditions, either alone or in partnership with supervising physicians
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding health promotion, disease prevention, and management
• Prescribe medications and treatment options as permitted by your credentials
• Engage in ongoing patient care and chronic disease management efforts
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care
• Maintain precise and complete documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)

Education Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner training program

Required Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Kentucky
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent recognized certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certified (or be eligible to complete within 90 days)
