Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic utilities location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activity with strong customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant details with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and perimeter locations to help identify potential concerns, report maintenance or access issues, and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and follow site post orders for visitor, contractor, and/or vehicle access.
• Support security-related operations by maintaining visible presence, communicating clearly with staff and/or first responders, and following established procedures during weather, utility, and/or other site-related events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
