Position Summary: Along with the Property Manager and the Maintenance Supervisor, the Assistant Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the physical assets, general maintenance repairs, apartment make‑readies, preventive maintenance and construction or rehabilitation projects for an apartment community. Responsible for maintaining adequate inventory of supplies for repairs and assisting with the monthly maintenance budget monitoring as well as back‑up to the Maintenance Supervisor. Job Duties: Understands and complies with Fair Housing laws and standards Must be able to interact with residents and vendors in a friendly, inviting, and professional manner Prefer four years’ experience HVAC Maintenance, Repair and Replacement Appliance, General Plumbing and Electrical Repairs Painting, Minor Carpentry and Drywall Repairs On call rotation which may result in evening, weekend and holiday coverage Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of buildings, common areas and grounds Participate in apartment turn‑key process, service requests and preventative maintenance programs Contribute to the organization and inventory control of the Maintenance Shop and other storage areas Application of all safety standards and practices associated with maintenance operations Full-time Employee Benefits: (3) Weeks PTO in 1st year (vacation and sick time) Birthday‑PAID day off Medical, Dental and Vision Benefits—1st of month following 30 days Company Paid Short Term, Long Term Disability and Group Life Insurance Competitive Salary w/ MONTHLY Bonus Potential Come join our growing and awesome TEAM!
