Registered Nurse (RN), Radiology – Part Time UC Health is hiring a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) for the Radiology department at University of Cincinnati Medical Center. The RN will support the Radiology department, delivering high-quality care to patients before, during, and after radiology procedures. Location Cincinnati, OH, United States Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance 401K Employee paid short-term and long-term disability Qualifications Graduate from an accredited school of nursing Associate’s Degree, minimum required Bachelor of Science in Nursing, preferred Current OH RN License Responsibilities Prepares, implements, evaluates, revises and coordinates an interdisciplinary plan of care for each assigned patient in collaboration with other healthcare team members and patient/family within the unit's standards of practice. Communicates the formulated plan of care to all levels of associates involved in the patient’s care and establishes priorities based on assessment and needs. Provides clear instructions to patients/family regarding treatment, and involves family/guardian in assessment, initial treatment, and ongoing care. Identifies and responds appropriately to different patient needs resulting from behavioral health problems or unique psychological, religious, or cultural norms. Demonstrates critical thinking, accountability, flexibility, and a cooperative attitude in meeting the needs of the unit. Documents nursing processes accurately and concisely, including evaluation of treatment, in accordance with hospital policy and procedure. Acts as a resource person and mentor for new personnel, floaters, and complementary staff on the unit.
