School psychologist Join our dynamic educational team as a School Psychologist, where you will play a vital role in supporting students' mental health, behavioral development, and academic success. In this energetic and impactful position, you will assess student needs, develop individualized plans, and collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to foster a positive learning environment. Your expertise will help identify challenges early and implement strategies that promote resilience and growth for students with diverse needs. • Duties: Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning of students. • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs. Provide individual and group counseling sessions focused on child & family counseling, social skills, and behavioral health. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to create effective behavior management and safety plans. Offer crisis intervention and conflict management support during emergencies or behavioral incidents. • Facilitate early intervention programs for students with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. • Maintain accurate medical documentation, psychological testing records, and progress notes in compliance with school policies. • Support staff training on applied behavior analysis (ABA), social work strategies, and crisis management techniques. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related field; Master's degree or higher in school psychology preferred. Valid school psychologist certification or license as required by local regulations. • Proven experience working with children in educational settings or similar environments. • Strong knowledge of special education laws, IEP processes, and disability accommodations. • Expertise in psychological testing, diagnostic evaluation, and patient assessment techniques. Familiarity with behavioral health practices including psychotherapy, behavior management, and crisis intervention. Ability to work effectively with students with disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, and developmental delays. • Excellent conflict management skills combined with compassionate communication abilities.
