Line Cook
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have experience working in fast-paced culinary environments, with a strong background in Chinese cuisine and sushi preparation. This role requires attention to detail, excellent time management, and the ability to work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to deliver high-quality dishes consistently.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards, focusing on Chinese cuisine and sushi.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices are followed.
- Assist with inventory management and ingredient preparation as needed.
- Work efficiently under pressure during busy service hours.
- Collaborate with chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Line Cook, preferably with Chinese cuisine and sushi preparation.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
