This opportunity is for an experienced Travel Registered Nurse to join a dynamic Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) in Lawrenceville, Georgia. The unit specializes in providing comprehensive critical care to adult patients with a wide range of complex medical conditions, including respiratory failure, sepsis, and other life-threatening illnesses.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing critically ill patients requiring advanced monitoring, ventilator management, and various life-sustaining interventions in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. This role requires a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia or a compact state license.
• Minimum of two (2) years of recent, acute care experience in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) setting.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Ability to travel and reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification.
• Prior experience with Cerner electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Previous experience in a dedicated COVID-19 ICU environment.
