BARISTA (FULL TIME)

Eurest – BARISTA Location: Rivian Palo Alto, 607 Hansen, Palo Alto, CA 94304. (Online applications accepted.) Schedule: Full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm. Details provided during interview. Fixed Pay Rate: $23.50 per hour. Requirement: Prior barista experience required. Job Summary Prepares and serves coffee and espresso drinks, related food and beverage items, and follows HACCP guidelines for food service operations. Interacts with customers and coworkers in a friendly, courteous manner. Handles POS transactions, replenishes supplies, and maintains cleanliness and sanitation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes. Enter orders accurately into POS device; accept cash and charge payments. Replenish condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area. Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of proper serving temperatures; follow HACCP standards. Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils. Ensure proper food preparation by using approved recipes and following prescribed production standards. Keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service. Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before rotating to another assignment. Greet customers courteously and interact to ensure customer satisfaction, relaying relevant concerns to supervisors. Serve customers quickly and efficiently, preventing delays in serving lines. Demonstrate a complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explain them to customers. Advocate selling techniques to the customer by establishing good communication and assisting in the buying decision‑making process. Ensure all display foods are merchandised attractively per standards; serve food neatly and attractively per standard. Perform other duties as assigned.
