Staff Software Engineer, Ads Measurement Signals

Salary: $177,185 - 364,795 per year Requirements:

• We bring 8+ years of backend or full-stack software engineering experience building large-scale distributed systems, services, and data pipelines, ideally in ads, measurement, or similarly data-heavy environments.
• We have a strong history of delivering GenAI- or ML-driven products end to end, including model or agent integration, retrieval, evaluation, safety guardrails, and both online and offline metrics.
• We have prior ads-domain expertise, preferably in measurement, including conversion tracking, attribution, signal enrichment pipelines, and concepts such as ROAS, CPA, and campaign optimization.
• We are highly skilled in product scoping, data analysis, and experimentation, including SQL on large datasets, experiment design, and cohort analysis.
• We have demonstrated technical leadership across teams, including framing ambiguous problems, aligning with product and cross-functional partners, and driving complex initiatives from concept to launch with clear documentation and communication.
• We have experience raising the bar for engineers in AI tooling and best practices, including establishing team-wide standards, templates, or processes for AI-assisted workflows.
• We hold a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• We partner closely with internal downstream teams in a forward-deployed manner to understand their workflows, build tailored solutions, and own those solutions end to end from design through integration and iteration.
• We design and implement the Conversion GenAI agent, including services, data flows, and retrieval layers that allow the agent to reason over Event Quality Scores, conversion funnels, and performance impact at scale.
• We strengthen existing GenAI applications by improving prompts, tools, retrieval quality, evaluation, safety checks, and reliability so the agent can support always-on monitoring and decision-making.
• We define how the sub-agent integrates with downstream ads products and internal tools, including APIs, contracts, and workflows that surface product-aware alerts and ranked recommendations.
• We consolidate and structure the measurement context layer, including matched and attributed conversion tables, enrichment pipelines, and existing tools, into high-quality signals the agent can query and interpret.
• We collaborate with Product, Operations, Sales, and other ads product teams to turn measurement pain points into agent capabilities and iterate quickly on internal-first experiences before expanding to advertiser-facing use cases.
• We help shape an evolving GenAI culture across organizations by identifying high-ROI patterns, establishing practical guardrails and workflows, and improving engineering velocity, measurement quality, and advertiser performance.
