The facility features a 23-bed department with two dedicated operating rooms available for c-sections and emergencies, offering a well-equipped environment for obstetric and gynecological care. Opportunity: Physician (MD) - Obstetrics and Gynecology Job Details: OB/GYN Hospitalist position requiring the provider to remain on-site at the hospital unit throughout a 24-hour shift 8 patient encounters per shift Must hold an active Kentucky medical license Must have a clean background with no issues Board certification required BLS and PALS certifications required Credentialing timeframe approximately 60 days Manage low and high risk pregnancies Perform FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE Perform OB ultrasounds including Level I/Screening (viability) and Level II/Targeted (anatomic) Perform amniocentesis procedures Handle routine deliveries including vaginal and low forceps Decision-making for c-sections required Manage complicated deliveries including c-sections, breech, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations required Perform surgical gynecology including open procedures, laparoscopic diagnostic/minor procedures, and operative/major procedures such as ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, and extensive LOA's Candidates driving in only; no airfare provided Lodging available at Hampton Inn All communication to be kept on LocumSmart; no phone calls or emails Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
