About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily business operations for our wholesale floral retail showroom. The ideal candidate brings a related background in floral wholesale or showroom environments, exceptional logistical capabilities, and a passion for delivering a high-standard client experience. Familiarity with wholesale market centers like AmericasMart is highly desirable. Background in importing and exporting Exceptional Logistical capabilities and ability to multi task in a fast pace enviroment Knowledge of receiving product- pricing etc. Exceptional computer skills a must ( spready sheets pricing, etc) Problem solving mindset and acute attention to details Accounting knowledge is desired to match with computer skills ( Excel) Proficient in inventory management and re-ordering

salary: $60,000 - $65,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 6 PM
education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Showroom & Inventory Management: Direct daily showroom operations, maintaining visual presentation, product availability, and seamless inventory turnover for wholesale floral collections.

• Team Leadership: Supervise, schedule, and support onsite staff, fostering a collaborative, efficient, and customer-focused work environment.

• Logistics & Supply Chain: Coordinate receiving, processing, and display of fresh and permanent floral shipments to minimize waste and optimize sales flow.

• Wholesale Client Relations: Serve as a key point of contact for trade clients, interior designers, and event planners, ensuring top-tier customer service and order accuracy.

• Event & Market Preparation: Lead operational setup and breakdown for trade shows, peak seasonal buying periods, and high-volume market events (including AmericasMart markets).

• Process Optimization: Identify and implement operational efficiencies across inventory tracking, point-of-sale systems, and warehouse organization.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• manual lifting up to 45lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
• working weekends
