Certified Maintenance Technician – Decatur, GA 30035
Pay: $24/hr | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM
Start Date: ASAP | Contract‑to‑Hire Opportunity
BG Staffing is seeking a skilled Certified Maintenance Technician to support an apartment community in Decatur, GA (30035). This role is ideal for a maintenance professional with strong technical abilities who can handle daily repairs, troubleshoot systems, and maintain high property standards.
Responsibilities
- Complete work orders and general maintenance repairs
- Troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues
- Assist with unit turns and make‑ready tasks
- Maintain grounds, common areas, and community equipment
- Ensure all work meets safety, compliance, and quality standards
- Provide friendly, professional service to residents
Requirements
- Maintenance certification required
- CPO (Certified Pool Operator) preferred
- Strong apartment maintenance experience
- Reliable, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently
- Excellent problem‑solving and customer service skills
