Registered Nurse (RN) - Juvenile Development Center

Location: Butner, NC Contract Length: 13 Weeks Hours: 40 Hours Per Week Start Date: September 14, 2026

Schedule Options

Choose from one of the following full-time schedules:

• 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday through Friday

8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break. No weekends required.

Position Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dependable Registered Nurses (RNs) to join a healthcare team within a Juvenile Development Center in Butner, NC. This role involves providing nursing care in a secure juvenile residential setting, ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of youth residents.

The ideal candidate is confident working independently, demonstrates strong clinical judgment, and is committed to delivering quality patient care in a structured environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and monitor patient health status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Respond to medical concerns and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Collaborate with healthcare and facility staff to coordinate care.
• Educate patients on health-related issues and treatment plans.
• Follow all nursing standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted North Carolina RN License (or compact license).
• Current CPR Certification.
• Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and professionally in a secure setting.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Orientation & Training

• Initial onboarding and paperwork.
