Faculty, Nursing - ABSN Program Regular Full-Time 9 Months Faculty Standish, ME, US 6 days ago Requisition ID: 2136 The Nursing Department of Saint Joseph’s College of Maine is seeking full-time Nursing Faculty. The successful candidate will teach in the traditional on-campus program and the hybrid ABSN nursing program. Responsibilities include in‑person didactic or clinical teaching, oversight of adjunct clinical faculty, participation in on‑campus immersions and simulations, remediation of students in didactic or clinical settings, and working with the On Campus Undergraduate Program Director or the ABSN Program Director on student concerns. Faculty may teach across programs to fulfill student needs. The successful candidate will have at least a MSN, five years of nursing experience, and one to two years experience in nursing education programs or precepting nursing students or new employees. A Maine RN license or a Compact license is required. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience in undergraduate BSN programs. Candidates must also have excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills; engage in student‑centered learning practices; be able to work with teams and creatively problem‑solve; and be willing to support the mission and core values of Saint Joseph’s College.
