Travel Physical Therapist - Acute Care Hospital
American Traveler
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Acute Care Hospital setting, requiring NC licensure and a minimum of 1 year of experience.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- NC license required if applicable
- Charting system experience required
- Skills in assessment, body mechanics, and home exercise programs needed
- Experience with orthopedic and neurologic patient populations preferred
Responsibilities
- Work in Acute Care or Inpatient Rehab Center, with assignment based on patient volume
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, Tuesday-Saturday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
- Patient population includes orthopedic, spinal, and neurologic conditions such as post-op joint replacements, stroke, TBI, and Parkinson's disease
- Settings include Acute Care, Outpatient Clinic, Rehabilitation Hospital, and Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
- Responsibilities include patient and family education and development of home exercise programs
- Facility conducts its own pre-employment drug screening in addition to standard credentialing requirements
- Candidates residing in Moore County are not eligible for this travel position
- Previous employees must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year to be considered
- RTO must be disclosed prior to assignment start
