Role Description The Assistant Clinical Manager/Educator is a full-time, on-site role based at Diley Ridge Medical Center in Canal Winchester, OH. This position supports daily clinical operations by assisting with staffing, workflow coordination, and resource allocation to ensure safe, efficient patient care. The role is responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating clinical education programs, including staff onboarding, ongoing training, competency assessments, and adherence to best practices and regulatory standards. The Assistant Clinical Manager/Educator collaborates with clinical leaders and interdisciplinary teams to identify performance gaps, implement quality improvement initiatives, and monitor outcomes. Additional responsibilities include mentoring clinical staff, supporting policy and procedure updates, participating in performance reviews, and contributing to a positive, patient-centered culture. Qualifications Proficiency in clinical operations and workflow coordination, with experience supporting day-to-day patient care activities. Demonstrated skills in training, education, and competency development for clinical staff, including onboarding and ongoing professional development. Knowledge of home care or post-acute transitions of care, with the ability to collaborate across care settings to support continuity of care. Solid foundation in medicine and clinical practice standards relevant to the patient populations served. Experience with quality improvement, including data-informed problem-solving, process enhancement, and outcome monitoring. Current professional clinical licensure or certification (e.g., RN or other applicable credential) in good standing. Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to coach and mentor diverse clinical teams. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing clinical needs. Prior experience in a clinical management, charge nurse, or educator role in an acute care or similar setting preferred.
