Cafeteria Assistant Positions

Under the supervision of the Food Service Supervisor and direction of the Cook and/or Lead Cook, assists in preparing and serving food and related activities. Esparto Unified is currently looking to fill two (2) positions.

Esparto Elementary School Cafeteria Assistant 5 hours per day (.625 FTE) Start Date: 10/01/2026 Hours: 8:30am - 2pm

Esparto Middle School Cafeteria Assistant 5 hours per day (.625 FTE) Start Date: 10/01/2026 Hours: 9am - 2:30pm

Requirements/Qualifications:

EdJoin Application Letter of Introduction Resume 3 Letters of Recommendation (within the last year) TB Test (upon hire) Graduation from high school or equivalent Valid Driver's License Valid Serv-Safe Certificate (by hire date) Valid Food Handlers Card (by hire date) The ability to read, write and perform basic math skills.

Employment appointments are contingent upon final approval by the Board of Trustees pursuant to District policy and applicable law.
