Home Instead is growing our Care Professional team in New Albany, Ohio , and we are looking for compassionate, dependable individuals interested in supporting clients with neurological and cognitive needs. Through our work supporting individuals connected with receiving neuro treatment, Care Professionals may have the opportunity to work with clients affected by conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson’s disease, cognitive decline, and other neurological conditions . They may be needed to accompany clients to their appointments or to help them with their ADLs while they are receiving treatment. This is not your typical caregiving opportunity. It is a great fit for someone who wants meaningful, hands‑on experience supporting individuals working toward greater independence and quality of life. What You’ll Do Providing companionship, encouragement and one‑on‑one support Assisting with activities of daily living and personal care Supporting safe mobility, walking and transfers as appropriate Providing transportation and accompanying clients to appointments or programs Assisting with meal preparation and light household tasks Helping clients maintain routines and independence at home Observing and communicating changes in a client’s condition or needs Providing dependable support before, during or after participation in scheduled programs Following established care plans, documentation requirements and safety procedures Building positive, professional relationships with clients and their families Who We’re Looking For You do not have to be a nurse or therapist to make an impact.
