Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience required License: Valid State RN Licensure Certifications: BLS (AHA), CNOR preferred Must-Have: - Scrub and circulate experience - Experience in cardiac, hepatobiliary, robotic, spine, and ophthalmology services Description: Provides direct and indirect patient care utilizing comprehensive patient assessment. Develops and implements nursing care plans and patient education, with ongoing evaluation. Delivers holistic and individualized care to all patients in assigned area. Develops and coordinates an interdisciplinary plan of care that includes psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors. Fosters collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers through effective communication. Engages in various surgical procedures, demonstrating proficiency in a wide range of skills. Maintains a safe and sterile operating environment. Participates in the education and mentoring of new staff. Adheres to professional standards and regulatory requirements. Engages in continuous professional development and education to enhance nursing practices. Provides compassionate and respectful care to ensure the dignity and privacy of all patients.
