This position allows for a flexible remote work setting, enabling our counselors to provide services from the comfort of their own homes while accessing our state-of-the-art telehealth platform. The work schedule will generally be Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, promoting a balanced work-life integration.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for elderly clients to identify their unique psychological and emotional needs, tailoring services accordingly.

• Provide individualized and group counseling sessions that address the emotional challenges associated with aging, such as grief, loss, depression, and anxiety.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians and social workers, to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that prioritize clients' mental health.

• Offer educational resources and training for families and caregivers focused on enhancing the emotional well-being of elderly clients, fostering understanding and support within their home environments.

• Lead grief and loss therapy sessions for clients and families coping with end-of-life issues, facilitating productive conversations and emotional processing.

• Develop and implement cognitive stimulation activities and mental health interventions designed to promote mental acuity and overall happiness among seniors.

Our primary focus is on the geriatric population, providing essential mental health services to seniors facing various challenges related to aging. These challenges may include dealing with chronic illnesses, adjusting to retirement, experiencing loss, and addressing mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, and cognitive decline. Understanding and addressing the emotional and psychological factors that affect our aging clients is crucial for effective treatment and support.

• A Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification.

• A minimum of four years of recent experience working directly with geriatric clients, demonstrating a strong background in mental health support.

• Additional training or specialization in geriatric mental health or aging-related issues is preferred.

• Proven ability to effectively deliver counseling services to elderly individuals facing diverse mental health challenges.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 65,000 to 95,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, new hires may receive a sign-on bonus as a welcome to our supportive community.
