LTC RN – Aspirus Medford Care & Rehab

Medford, WI

Position: Registered Nurse – Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: 13 weeks
Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Weekend: Every other weekend
Holiday: Holiday rotation required
Call: No regular on-call requirement; low-census on-call may apply

Requirements

Active Wisconsin RN or Compact RN License
BLS – AHA or ARC
2+ years of Skilled Nursing / Long-Term Care experience
LTC/SNF experience required
Experience with medication administration
Experience caring for rehabilitation and long-term care residents
Travelers must be willing to float between Short-Term Rehab, LTC, and CBRF

Charting

ECS experience preferred, but not required
Facility provides ECS training

Unit Details

Unit 1: 12 short-term rehab beds + 10 CBRF residents
Unit 2: 20 LTC beds
Staffing: 2 nurses + 3 aides on day/PM shifts

Additional Information

Bill Rate: $81/hr
Professional, clean, work-appropriate scrubs
Up to 36 hours of unbillable low-census time may apply
If placed on call due to low census, those hours count toward the 36-hour allowance
Call-back pay applies if called back, with a minimum 2-hour call-back guarantee
50-mile radius rule expired as of 7/10/2026
During flu season, travelers declining flu/COVID vaccination must wear a mask per facility policy

Location: Aspirus Medford Care & Rehab, 135 S. Gibson St., Medford, WI 54451.
